ST ANN: Suspected suicide at Roaring River

Residents found the body of a man hanging from a tree with an electrical wire around the neck at Roaring River in St Ann’s Bay about 11:40AM yesterday, March 14.

The deceased is yet to be identified, said the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), which noted that the St Ann’s Bay Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the corpse, which was cut down and taken to the morgue.

“The body appears to be in the late thirties, is of dark complexion, and is about 187 centimetres (6 feet 2 inches) tall. The body was clad in a grey shirt and a pair of blue jeans,” the JCF disclosed.

It said persons with pertinent information should call the St Ann’s Bay Police 876-972-2211, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
