Several wounds | Elderly man found dead in tank at Moneague

Detectives assigned to the St Ann Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly man whose body was found in a public tank at Grierfield in Moneague yesterday, October 29.

The deceased is 65-year-old farmer Errol Slew, otherwise called Sluppy, from Taylor Corner in Gibralter district, Moneague, St Ann.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force said: “Reports from the Moneague Police are that, about 5:30pm, residents stumbled upon the body and alerted them. On their arrival, it was seen afloat in the water with multiple wounds and a machete beside it. The scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue for post mortem.”
