Portland man dies in crash

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a motor vehicle collision claimed the life of a man on St Georges Street in Buff Bay, Portland, yesterday, May 7.

The deceased is Delroy Creary from Buff Bay.

The JCF said: “Reports are that, about 2:45PM, Creary was riding a bicycle along the roadway when he was hit by a Toyota Fielder motor car, which was heading in the opposite direction. He sustained multiple injuries and was taken hospital where he was pronounced dead.”

The JCF noted that the driver of the motor car was warned for prosecution.
