Two gunmen have robbed a supermarket operated by foreign nationals in Point Hill, St Catherine, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has confirmed.

Details of the crime that transpired about 7:45 last evening (December 12) are still sketchy.

The JCF, through its communications arm, told The Beacon that the two criminals escaped with funds estimated to be more than $150,000 as well as about 70 phone cards.

It added that no one was injured and investigations are ongoing.
