One of the two promising young men found murdered on January 20 in the Dallas river in St Andrew was laid to rest on Sunday, March 10.
He is 25-year-old Akiele Davis who attended the Caribbean Maritime Institute. He is pictured in the centre of the photos above.
Davis, whose body was found with gunshot wounds, is from Golden Grove in St Ann. The funeral service for him took place at Moneague College in his native parish.
The other young man shot dead during what appears to be a case of carjacking and robbery is 25-year-old Reynold Kerr, who recently graduated from the University of Technology as a civil engineer.
