A 16-year-old resident of the St Andrew South constituency, Shammondtel Simms, has drawn a portrait of her Member of Parliament Mark Golding.

She presented it to him yesterday, July 18.

Simms will attend Edna Manley College at the start of the academic year, but, already, her amazing talent is hard to overlook.

“Another talented individual from South St Andrew,” Golding bragged in a Facebook post, which includes the photo that appears on this page.

The parliamentarian added: “Shammondtel surprised me yesterday with this amazing drawing of myself as an early birthday gift.”

With such talent, Simms is bound to not only surprise, but also impress many more – not just her MP.

Continue drawing, young genius!
