PHOTO: Ewarton club donates to children

Members of the Optimist Club of Ewarton, St Catherine, donated back-to-school items to the Mount Zion House of Refuge Children’s Home in the Rose Hall area of Linstead in the parish on August 19.
They gave school bags, books, pencils, crayons, clips and some items of clothing.
That kind gesture is nothing new for the service club, which meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Ewarton community centre.
Members of the club are also known to visit homes for the elderly and the differently abled, giving of their time and talent.
