Partially burned body found in Spanish Town

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers are trying to ascertain the identity of a man whose partially burned remains were found in an open lot on King Street in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

The body, which was found under an ackee tree this morning (June 6), was partially covered with tyres.

The JCF stated that police officers went to the scene after residents contacted them about a foul odour in the area.

The body eventually was removed to the morgue, the police further disclosed.
