Men arrested for bullets in Claremont

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said detectives attached to the Area 2 Fugitive Apprehension Team seized twenty 9-millimetre cartridges at York Castle in Claremont, St Ann, yesterday, September 12.

It added: “Reports are that, between 3:30AM and 6:30AM, a team of officers was on operation in the area when a premises was searched and ammunition was found.”

The JCF further stated that two men were arrested in connection with the seizure, but their identities are being withheld, pending further investigations.
