A number of people who depend on telecommunications company FLOW for service in sections of Lluidas Vale, St Catherine, are without internet and cable due to an alleged case of theft that is suspected to have transpired overnight.

The areas affected include Orange Valley and Camp districts.

When a Beacon correspondent visited the Camp area – in the vicinity of the HEART/NTA training institute, pieces of cable were seen hanging between utility poles. A relatively large chunk is missing.

One resident of Orange Valley, which is commonly known as Valley Road, appealed for Flow to expedite the restoration of service.

The Shady Grove Police in Lluidas Vale are probing the alleged theft.
