KELLITS: Dalley to use parliament to call for fire station

July 25, 2019 0 By Horace Mills

Member of Parliament for Clarendon Northern, Horace Dalley, said he will use the parliament to press Government to establish a fire station in or around Kellits in his constituency.

“I think the time has come now and I am going to call for it in the parliament; we don’t need to do a feasibility study about the fire station,” he told The Beacon.

He indicated that the St Catherine-based Linstead Fire Station, which serves a number of communities in his constituency, is too far away. Residents, on the heels of a deadly fire in the constituency last month, raised a similar concern.
