Hanover: Two murdered on Boxing Day

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said two men were shot dead in their Hanover community on Boxing Day, December 26.

The deceased are 53-year-old farmer Kenneth Hemans and 52-year-old mason Frank Birch from Cold Spring in Sandy Bay.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Sandy Bay Police are that, about 2am, residents reportedly heard explosions and alerted them.

“On their arrival, the bodies of the men were seen lying on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue,” the JCF further said.

It noted that investigations are ongoing.
