The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said gunmen shot four people – one fatally – on Molynes Road in Kingston 10 a few hours before daybreak today, March 10.
The deceased is 31-year-old labourer Richard Brown, otherwise called Richie, from Molynes Road.
A woman is among three people in hospital.
The JCF said: “Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that, about 12:15am, all four persons were walking along the roadway when they were approached by gunmen travelling in a motor car who opened fire hitting them.
“The police were alerted and they were taken to hospital where Brown was pronounced dead and the others were admitted for treatment,” added the JCF, which noted that investigations are ongoing.
