Gunmen kill 2, wound 3 in St James

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said three gunmen are responsible for the murder of two men and the wounding of three others at Rose Heights, St James, yesterday, March 28.

The deceased are 32-year-old Dwayne Stennett from Rose Heights in St James and 24-year-old Shane Williams from Mandeville in Manchester. Williams is pictured above.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Mount Salem Police are that, about 8AM, Stennett and Williams were standing along a roadway when they were approached by three men armed with guns. The gunmen opened fire at them hitting them several times. The police were alerted and they were taken to hospital where both men were pronounced dead while the other three have been treated.”

Investigations are continuing, the JCF added.
