Farmer murdered at Damhead

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a gunman shot and killed a 49-year-old farmer from Crescent district in Damhead, St Catherine, last evening, October 17.

The deceased is Milton Elleston, otherwise called Cooper, Prince, or Suttie.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that, about 9:30pm, Elleston was among a group of men playing dominos when a lone man approached and opened gunfire hitting him multiple times. The man escaped in a waiting motorcar.

“The police were summoned and Elletson was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” the JCF said, noting that investigations are continuing.
