EWARTON: Polly Ground on winning streak in football league

Polly Ground is leading the group of teams that already secured victories in the Ewarton Community Football League, which got underway in St Catherine on December 9.

In the first two games, Charlton Meadows defeated Young Squad 3-1, while Miller Road and Bop played to a 2-2 draw.

Bop, in the following week, defeated Young Squad 2-1 while Polly Ground whipped Vintage 3-1.

Matches continued on Sunday, December 23, when Peeny Town drew 3-3 with Vintage while Polly Ground edged Charlton Meadows 3-2. Charlton Meadows is pictured above.

The competition will resume next Sunday, January 6, following a break this weekend.
