EWARTON: Polly Ground beat Miller Road
January 27, 2019Polly Ground are the latest winners in the Ewarton Community League underway in St Catherine.
The team secured a 2-1 win over Miller Road last Sunday; the winning goals scored by Duwayne Lewin in the 33rd minute and Jermaine Wood in the 44th. Damion Thompson, in the 46th minute of play, scored the only goal for Miller Road.
In the other match, Charlton Meadows drew 1-1 with BOP (Boys Of Polly Ground).
Nicholas Wright rattled the net for Charlton Meadows in the 50th minute, while Javona Cole scored in the 60th minute for BOP.
The Beacon Of The Match, however, was Charlton Meadows’ midfielder Dinnat Whitticker, pictured above.
