The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said the decomposing body of an unidentified man, wrapped in tarpaulin, has been found in bushes on Sirgany Drive in Kingston.

It further stated that, about 6:30pm on Wednesday, May 30, residents made the discovery and summoned police.

“On arrival of the lawmen, the body was seen wrapped in a tarpaulin in an advanced state of decomposition. The scene was processed and it was removed to the morgue pending post-mortem,” the JCF said.

It added that the Elletson Road Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating the circumstances that led to the death.

“The Elletson Road police are asking anyone with information that can assist in their investigation to contact them at 928-4200, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station,” the JCF said.
