Cops shoot man, seize gun in Bull Bay

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a man was shot and wounded during a confrontation with the police, who seized an illegal firearm in the incident.

The alleged gun-clash unfolded yesterday (June 25) in the Taylor Land area of Bull Bay, St Andrew, the JCF disclosed.

It said: “A 9 millimetre Beretta pistol, fitted with a magazine containing sixteen 9 millimetre rounds of ammunition, was seized in the incident.”
