Clarendon businessman murdered at hotel in St Andrew

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is still trying to find out who murdered a well-known Clarendon businessman and co-founder of Sporting Central Academy, John Brandon Murray, at Mayfair Hotel along West Kings House Road in St Andrew.

The Corporate Communications Unit of the JCF told Jamaica Beacon that gunmen shot the 47-year-old land developer about 4:45pm on Sunday, June 10.

“Reports are that Murray was walking on the compound of a hotel when he was pounced upon by unknown assailants. He was shot multiple times. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” added the communications arm of the JCF.
