Car lands on top of driver during crash, kills him in Westmoreland

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 22-year-old labourer Marlio Tomlinson from Town Head in Frome, Westmoreland, died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle incident on Frome main road last night, July 8.

It explained: “Reports from the Frome police are that, about 11:30pm, Tomlinson was driving a grey Toyota Mark X along the mentioned main road when he lost control of the vehicle, and collided in an embankment.

“The motor car overturned and he was thrown from the vehicle which landed on top of him. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead,” added the JCF.

It noted that investigations are continuing.
