Body with slashed throat found in Kitson Town

Police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old man, Vincent Campbell, who has been chopped and killed in his community of Kingsland, Kitson Town, St Catherine.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said reports are that, about 6:45pm on June 5, Campbell was reported missing.

“On Wednesday (June 6) at 5:30am, residents stumbled upon the body in bushes with his throat slashed,” the JCF said.

“The police were summoned and, upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.”

Investigations are continuing.
