Detectives from the Major Investigation Division have theorized that gang violence is behind a triple murder and the injuring of a female at a house on Harvey Road in Kingston 13 a few hours before daybreak today, June 12.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said those shot dead are 20-year-old higgler Tajay Dunbar, 23-year-old sideman Neville Lewis, and 16-year-old Jody Ann Deer.

Another female, who was also at the home, received several gunshot wounds and has been admitted to hospital for treatment, the JCF further disclosed.

Head of the St Andrew South Police, Superintendent Gary Francis, in the meantime, reminded residents of Harvey Road and surrounding communities that Crime Stop still offers rewards for information regarding gangs and guns.

He encouraged them to share any pertinent information with the police.

“Persons who call 311 can earn up to JA$100, 000 for information that leads to the seizure of a gun. Persons may also contact C-TOC at 876-967-1389 to give information on gangs,” added the JCF.
