$20M worth of cocaine found
April 2, 2019Law enforcers said they have found 109.2 kilograms of cocaine, which has an estimated street value of $20 million, at Gordon Cay in Port Bustamante, Kingston.
The find was made on Friday, March 29, during a joint operation by members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), Jamaica Defence Force, and Jamaica Customs.
The JCF said: “Reports from the Narcotics Police are that, about 11:50PM, a container was searched and four duffle bags containing 95 parcels of white powdery substance resembling cocaine were found.”
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure, the JCF further said.
