16-y-o electrocuted while picking mangoes

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said its officers are still investigating the electrocution of 16-year-old Tyrese Winter from Oklahoma Avenue in Christian Pen, Portmore, St Catherine.

The incident happened on Father’s Day – Sunday, June 16.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Portmore Police are that, about 10:58AM, Winter climbed a mango tree to pick mangoes and got entangled with Jamaica Public Service wires. The police were summoned and his body removed to the morgue.”
