MONEAGUE: Construction worker dies in crash

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said 35-year-old construction worker Fredrick Lang died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident on the Grierfield main road in the parish on Saturday, March 23.

He is from Swamp district, St Elizabeth.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Moneague Police are that, about 11:30PM, Lang was driving a Toyota Vista motorcar towards Grierfield when he lost control of the vehicle, which hit an embankment and overturned. Lang was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, March 24.”

Investigations are continuing, the JCF said.
