The National Water Commission (NWC) said a scheduled power outage by the Jamaica Public Service Company will disrupt operations at the Dinthill Pumping Station in St. Catherine.

The power outage will take place from 9 o’clock tomorrow morning (October 31) until 5PM.

The NWC said the areas to be impacted are: Dinthill, Linstead, Deeside, Mickleton, Jew Pen, Grove Road, Rosemount, Mickleton Meadows, Commodore, Buena Vista, and sections of Wakefield.

It advised: “Customers in the affected areas are being urged to store water for use during the disruption period, and are being assured that water will be restored following the resumption of the public power supply.”

The NWC said it regrets any inconvenience the disruption may cause.
