LINSTEAD: Gunmen rob businessman of truck loaded with gas

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has confirmed that a businessman was robbed about 4PM yesterday, November 16, in the Savannah area of Linstead, St Catherine.

It told The Beacon: “The complainant received a call to deliver gas in the Savannah area and he drove a white Isuzu motor truck to that location loaded with [cooking] gas.

“When he arrived at the location, he was pounced upon by armed men who robbed him of the motor truck and the items in the truck,” added the JCF.

It said the businessman was not harmed.
