Woman robbed, murdered while leaving work
October 2, 2018A 25-year-old secretary was murdered during a robbery on Temple Lane in Kingston shortly before 6 o’clock last evening, October 1, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said.
The deceased is Sashana Hibberts from Kingston 11.
The Corporate Communications Unit of the JCF told The Beacon that Hibberts was leaving a business establishment with a man.
The two were pounced upon by robbers armed with guns.
The criminals robbed them of cash.
The JCF stated that, during a struggle between Hibberts and one of the gunmen, the criminal shot her dead.
The male victim was not harmed.
Hibberts was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
